The second annual Transport Topics Sustainability Pathfinder Awards are being announced at TMC's 2025 Annual Meeting. With this award, Transport Topics will recognize two companies within the freight transportation industry that are paving the way for a greener future.

By honoring some of these pathfinders, Transport Topics hopes to inspire the entire freight transportation community to continue to find new and innovative ways to make the industry more sustainable.

Qualifications for the Award

If you are a Private Fleet, For-Hire Carrier, or 3PL, you may be considered for this award.

Private Fleet

What is the selection process for the Transport Topics Sustainability Pathfinder Awards?

At the end of the nomination period, the editorial team will assess all entries based on the overall impact of the company's innovation/practice. Successful submissions will demonstrate, clearly, the highest standards of sustainable business practice. Each submission will be judged equally on creativity and innovation (30%), planning and execution (30%), and results of the program (30%).

When will the Transport Topics Sustainability Pathfinder Awardees be announced?

Transport Topics will first notify the awardees and invite them to join us for 2025 TMC Annual Meeting, all accommodations on us, to be celebrated during trucking's biggest show.

How will the Transport Topics Sustainability Pathfinder Awards and Awardees be honored at TMC's Annual Meeting?

During 2025 TMC Annual Meeting, the awardees will be featured in interviews and award coverage by Transport Topics reporters, recognized during vital executive sessions, and honored during the Transport Topics award presentation.

What is next for the Transport Topics Sustainability Pathfinder Awards and future nominees?

The Transport Topics Sustainability Pathfinder Awards will be held annually. Nominations will open in the beginning of the year and close in mid-February. Winners will be honored at TMC's Annual Meeting among their industry peers.
